 GG Allin was an infamous punk singer known for flinging his faeces at this audience, Franko B is an artist who cuts himself allowing copious amounts of blood to drip on to a prepared stage.

 Both people use transgressive actions but come from different positions. What about Jubal Brown the canadian artist who vomits on paintings http://www.nytimes.com/1996/12/08/weekinreview/no-stomach-for-art.html

How do we define the intent versus the action  to determine it's value?.
I will be making art on this theme using both collage, video art and drawing.

    I will admit you really just stressed out my ocd, someone who throws poo at the audience. God, I'm some glad I never ever heard of him, that is just wrong in so many ways.

      I remember seeing this footage of him at an American university. It was proto hipsters who turned up( the footage was early nineties) you could tell they had turned up purely for the elite cool factor. The ones in the front row quickly got covered lol.They got really upset, and started giving him the finger. Not something i would go to, i did go to a weird art show once where the artist put things in her front bottom, it was hilarious to see all the chin stroking and serious debate from the art farty's afterwards.Anyone who is creative is normally more interesting than those who are not, but sense of humour and the ridiculous i think is way more important.       Thanks so much,i have to be carefull though, if you look at my cuckold piece the cuckold community took offence. And i have not posted specific art to that project yet.

    People actually went to see a man that flung poo at the audience??? Where did he get the poo from? Did he poo on stage or store it for future concerts?

      I am afraid he took it from the source direct. He was famous for it, he also had a very tiny engine which may have contributed to his drug addictions. Thanks for commenting.
